The United Service Clubs Rose Parade theme float was "Schooldays." It featured a schoolhouse on a hill, with an arbor and a well. Those riding on the float were; Beth MacLeod, 12; Betty Goodman, 12; Phyllis Newcomer, 12; Jeannette Selph, 14; and Jimmy McNary, 7.
Unidentified garden float with a fountain in a garden in front of a structure, all carpeted in greenery and flowers, with a boy and girl and others on the float and 11 visible outwalkers in satin jump suits, plumed caps and wings.
Four women are seated on the float in front of an arbor. Behind them is a mound of greenery. The parade is reported in "Floats banks of blossoms...," Los Angeles Times, 02 Jan. 1924: II:7.

Float created as a tribute to Will Rogers shows a white horse, probably Soapsuds, with a lowered head and empty saddle, its reins trailing on the ground, on a raised platform. A radiant star is behind Soapsuds and a U. S. flag is draped on the platform in front of him. The float was entered by the Union Oil Company.
The "Treasure Ship" float with a Spanish galleon bearing golden gifts; the intended inhabitants of the float were driven away by the rain. The Pasadena Memorial Flagpole (Goodhue Flagpole) is visible behind the float in its original location in the middle of the intersection of Orange Grove and Colorado Boulevard. The float was entered by the Hotel Vista del Arroyo.

"Trail of the Eagle" float shows an eagle alighting on top of a mountain. The float was entered by the San Marino Boy Scout Troops Nos. 1 and 2. The float is shown at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd.
