"Enchanted Lands" float in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, 1935

Description:
The "Enchanted Lands" float features a large floral replica of the California Building (a Spanish Colonial building designed for the by architect Bertram Goodhue for the 1915-1917 Panama–California Exposition held in San Diego to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal) with a bell tower and dome reproduced with yellow, white and bronze chrysanthemums. A sign on the side of the float reads "San Diego, World Exposition City, 1935." On the visible corners of the float are float riders in costume with decorations featuring (L to R) a Spanish-American mission, a Chinese bridge, and a South Seas palm. The Goodhue Flagpole at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd. is visible behind the float.

Description:
The "Southern California Farm House" float is formed of cornflowers and white flowers with a garden in front and a rising sun behind the house. The float riders are Lois Weston and Leland and James Clemson. The El Monte entry is seen at the intersection of Orange Grove blvd. and Colorado Blvd. with the Goodhue Flagpole in the background on the right.

"Adohrable Babies" float in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, 1932

Description:
"Adhorable Babies" float carrying 18 children in a golden, cup-shaped trophy in the center with a floral sign reading "Our Future Champions" and 29 children on the main platform dressed in costumes of different countries competing in Olympiads. The float is decorated with shields ornamented to look like coats of arms with carnations and pigeons were steadily released from the trophy during the parade. The float was lead by another small float in the form of a swan (image no. 21198/zz002cp5vz) and was entered by the Adohr Creamery Company. the float location in the image is the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd.

Czechoslovakia float at the starting point of the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, 1927

Description:
A Tournament of the Roses parade float with a European theme (probably the entry from Czechoslovakia). The participant furthest to the left is wearing a traditional Eastern-European dress, while the three participants to the right of the float are wearing gowns. The float is decorated with palms and other various foliage, and a two-dimensional sun is suspended within an arch flanked by monumental vases of flowers. The Pasadena Memorial Flagpole (Goodhue Flagpole) is visible behind the float in its original location in the middle of the intersection of Orange Grove and Colorado Boulevard.

Three-layer wedding cake float on a gondola-like boat with boy gondolier and girl riding in the boat and topped with boy and girl, Harold Van Horn and Ardath Aline Elsasser, dressed as a bride and groom beneath an archway.
