The "Southern California Farm House" float is formed of cornflowers and white flowers with a garden in front and a rising sun behind the house. The float riders are Lois Weston and Leland and James Clemson. The El Monte entry is seen at the intersection of Orange Grove blvd. and Colorado Blvd. with the Goodhue Flagpole in the background on the right.
The theme of the 1935 forty-sixth annual Rose Parade was "Golden Legends."
