- Description:
- A stage with a white tent is lit by stadium lights. The stage is set at an end of the arena field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Dozens of people in stylized costumes of ancient Arabia sit upon the stage and in front of the stage. Hundreds or possibly thousands of spectators can be seen sitting in the stadium. The photograph was taken at night. The Al Malaikah Shrine Temple of Los Angeles hosted a pageant, of which the theme was One Thousand and One Nights, or Arabian Nights.
