This photograph is very similar to another one of the First Continental Congress float that appears with photo page, "Pageant of Liberty Stirs Throng of 50,000 at the Coliseum," Los Angeles Times, 6 Jul. 1926: A12.
The First Continental Congress float at the Pageant of Liberty. Men dressed as the Founding Fathers in Colonial garb ride a float that is labeled, "First Continental Congress 1774." A large crowd is gathered in the stands. Other men, also dressed in colonial garb, walk toward the float.
