On the bottom of the print it reads The Waldorf-Astoria, N.Y., where the photograph may have been taken. In the lower left corner is written "copyright 1895 / By Falk." Copy print of actor Edwin Booth. On the bottom of Booth's print, the photography studio is identified as "Dewey" on the left, with the address "Los Angeles, Cal., 147 S. Main St." on the right.

Portrait of Estelle De Broglie, United States (?), circa 1926

Description:
Estelle Alexander, an American from San Francisco, married French aristocrat François Marie Constant Amédée Robert de Broglie (known as Prince Robert de Broglie) in the early 1900s, after which she was known as (Princess) Estelle de Broglie. They had a daughter, Jassemonde Estelle Siglinde de Broglie. According to newspaper accounts, they gave concerts, with Estelle, a soprano, singing, and Robert conducting the orchestra. The marriage was eventually annulled. Estelle continued to live in France and visited the United States in 1929 intending to regain U.S. citizenship. She died at Auschwitz in 1944, and is identified as "Estelle Alexander 1872" on the Mémorial de la Shoah (Shoah Memorial) in Paris. In documents, her name is sometimes given as Estella Dolores Alexander. Photo appears with the article: "CHIEF ATTRACTION FAILS TO APPEAR: PRINCESS SIDESTEPS ON SHOW Mrs. Astor Has to Put on Fashion Event Without Piece de Resistance," Los Angeles Times, 14 Nov. 1929: 3. In an earlier article: "PRINCE BUILDS TIMEPIECES: Scion of French Nobility, Visiting Here, Heads Works for Manufacturing Electric Clocks," Los Angeles Times, 27 May 1926: A8, this photograph is mis-identified as the wife of Robert de Broglie's brother, Jacques de Broglie.

Minnie Kennedy signs a document with Guy Edward Hudson and Barney Bernard, United States, circa 1931-1932

Description:
Minnie Kennedy, mother of the evangelist AImee Semple McPherson, is handed a pen by Barney Bernard to sign some documents, as Guy Edward Hudson watches. Kennedy and Hudson were married in 1931. Barney Bernard (born Junius Lorraine Bernard, 1885-1950) was a newspaperman who wrote for the Herald Express, the Pasadena Star, the Los Angeles Times, and the Examiner. In addition, he was an assistant director during the filming of "Birth of a Nation" and afterwards did motion picture publicity in New York City.

Actor-playwright Frank Bacon, circa 1922

Description:
Signed portrait photograph of Frank Bacon. Bacon was an American character actor and playwright who after years of relative obscurity achieved great success as he entered the twilight of his career. The 1918 play Lightnin', which Bacon co-wrote and starred in, set a Broadway record for the day of 1,291 performances and was still going strong on tour after more than 700 shows when Bacon was forced to bow out due to fatigue. His death from a heart attack followed a week later.
