Description:
City street with pedestrians, cars and buildings including Los Angeles central police station, which includes the city jail. Sign on building reads: Leonard Freefield Company Printers. The Central Los Police Station, a Romanesque revival style building faced with rusticated stone, was designed by architect Charles L. Strange, and opened around 1908. Strange was also the architect of the Hotel Green, in Pasadena (1887), and the Superior Court Building in Santa Ana (1900-1901).

Description:
Baker Iron Works advertisementdesigned to look like an architectural plan. The upper half of the ad features a drawing of the exterior of the Shrine Auditorium with three travelers on camels flanking the building. The center of the ad is hand-written text. On the left a banner surrounds the words "Supplied by Baker Iron Works Established 1872. - Structural Steel - Elevators - Riveted Pipe - Plate and Tank Work. North Broadway Los Angeles." To the right is more text that reads "Elevators for Shrine Auditorium and Structural Steel for Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce Building -- Each the largest building of its class in the west." There is a small inscription written vertically that reads 7 1/4 inches, measuring the height of the ad in total. The bottom half of the ad features a photograph of the structural steel skeleton of the the Chamber of Commerce building under construction.

Dedication ceremony of a bronze plaque for the signing of the Treaty of Cahuenga written by Jessie Benton Frémont at Campo De Cahuenga. Members stand in front of the plaque, which hangs from the wall of a building. In the background are the California state flag and American flag. It was a gift of the California History and Landmarks Club, the Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West, and the Ebell Club. Location: 3919 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood. Campo De Cahuenga is Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #29.

Description:
The reporters and investigative journalists (19 men and 7 women) stand outside Zeke’s residence. Skid marks from the kidnappers’ car is shown. Zeke’s residence was Hollywood Hills, 2230 Hollyridge Drive, Los Angeles, CA. Zeke (E. L., Ezekiel Logan) Caress, his wife Helen Caress and their chauffeur were kidnapped from their Hollywood Hills home on December 20, 1930. They were held in a house near El Sereno, and freed after their abductors were captured by on their way cash the ransom checks.

Zensaku Azuma in the cockpit of the plane he would fly from the United States to Tokyo, Los Angeles, 1930

Description:
Pilot Zensaku Azuma in the cockpit of his plane on which is painted "City of Tokyo / U.S.A. To Japan" and an inscription in Japanese. Azuma flew from Los Angeles to New York. He then had his plane shipped to London, from which he flew to Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Siberia, and then on to Korea and Japan.
