- The reporters and investigative journalists (19 men and 7 women) stand outside Zeke’s residence. Skid marks from the kidnappers’ car is shown. Zeke’s residence was Hollywood Hills, 2230 Hollyridge Drive, Los Angeles, CA. Zeke (E. L., Ezekiel Logan) Caress, his wife Helen Caress and their chauffeur were kidnapped from their Hollywood Hills home on December 20, 1930. They were held in a house near El Sereno, and freed after their abductors were captured by on their way cash the ransom checks.
