Description:: Photograph of a bagpipe band, wearing traditional Scottish highland attire, marching in the seventh annual California State convention of the Canadian Legion, British Empire Service League. The drum is imprinted with the band name and their legion post: "The procession follows street car tracks along Santa Monica Boulevard near Third Street, with the Junipher building seen at right. The building housed an S.H. Kress & Co. 5-10-25 Cent Store, a Union Pacific ticket office, a jeweler and a See's Candy store amongst other businesses. A portion of the Guaranty Trust Bank Building (221-225 Santa Monica Blvd.) is viewed down the street.
