Description:
Opera singer Enrico Porta, in the role of Rigoletto, sings while a crowd of nobles and courtiers look on. The singers wear costumes evoking 16th century attire - the female singers wear long gowns with full skirts and puffed sleeves. The men wear stockings, doublet-inspired tunics, ruff collars, and baldrics (for holding a sword) around the waist. Rigoletto wears an embroidered cape and braided belt with tassels. The stage set represents a room in the Duke’s palace complete with a throne (an ornate wooden chair covered with a canopy, placed on an elevated platform). The walls are built with faux columns and crests mounted on them. Musicians can be seen from the orchestra pit at foreground. Additionally, Natalie Garrotto (second from left) performs as a noblewoman and Jean Kortlander is visible as well (3rd from R).

Description:
Opera singers performing Act 2, Scene 2 from “Lucia di Lammermoor.” Lucia (Natalie Garrotto) wears a wedding gown and veil and is being comforted by her handmaid, Alisa (Catherine Mazet). Lucia turns away from Edgardo, laird of Ravenswood (portrayed by Ray Gagan) as he sings. He wears a button-down shirt, fitted breeches and tall boots. He also carries a sword at his side. Not far from him stands Enrico, laird of Lammermoor (Enrico Porta), who wears a satin doublet with lace-trimmed collar, breeches and stockings. Additionally, cast members in the role of nobles and courtiers watch as events transpire. June Moss (second from left) performs as one of these nobles. A fabric covered table topped with a quill pen and ink set are the only visible stage props.

Downstage, two chairs and a table topped with quill pen and ink are the only props visible. Musicians are viewed in the orchestra pit at foreground. Additionally, June Moss (standing left of the staircase) performs as a noble in attendance.
