Notes
- Description
- Photograph of a wide street leading out of New Orleans. The street appears to consist of 4 lanes bisected by a median. The roadway's grass median spans the width of the bottom edge and stretches back into the distance at center. Short, white posts are equally spaced and stand in a line down the median. Two lanes extend into the distance from either side of the median. In the near distance at center, a sign posted in the median reads, "CROSS AHEAD." At left, a distant car approaches the camera. Motels, restaurants, billboards and utility poles line both sides of the road. A sign on a rooftop at left reads, "DRINK JAX BOTTLE BEE[R]." At right, a sign outside a motel reads, "PINES[?] TOURIST COURT," and a billboard farther down the road reads, "[...] HOLMES." Opaque patches of white occupy the lower left and lower right corners.
