According to the negative sleeve, this set of photographs is captured in color. The scans of these images are in black and white.
A poorly-lit or poorly-exposed photograph of Canal Street in New Orleans, as viewed from a street corner. A cross-street to Canal Street passes horizontally along the bottom edge. Canal Street enters frame from the lower left corner and stretches back into the distance towards center. At right, a man crossing the cross-street walks towards the camera. Behind him, a wide sidewalk runs adjacent to Canal Street. It is lined by buildings. Signage on the buildings reads, from front to back, "Catherin[...] SHOPS," "Emporium INC," "MONTELEONI," "[NA]TION[AL] S[...]RT SHO[...]," "DRUGS," and "HOLMES." Down Canal Street, cars drive away from camera and park along the right curb. Flags and banners hang over the street. A median extends along the left side of the street. Beyond the median, buildings line the left side of the street in the distance. Four punched holes line the upper edge at left.
