Mugshot photographs of Carl Carrillo. The profile photo has an X through it. The forward facing photo has crop marks around it.
Related to several articles about several pirates who boarded the gambling ship Monte Carlo and stole $26,000. Carrillo was found to be one of the pirates (the driver of the high-speed boat) and sentenced to eight years in prison (he later got another two years added for alcohol smuggling). The stories ran in 1935-1936.
