Hulbert, the president of the World's Fair Exhibition (to be held in 1935), that was cancelled and an inquiry was set up to determine whether Hulbert had been arrested on charges in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, or ucson, Arizona. Hulbert later resigned from his post.
Pivaroff and Rhodes, ex-convicts with lengthy criminal records, have received 25 years imprisonment for the armed robbery of a post office in Long Beach on August 16th.
