- Photographed at an unidentified event in the early 1950s, University of California Regent Edward A. Dickson (2nd left) and Chancellor Raymond Allen (3rd left) stand with two unidentified men. In 1952, Allen became UCLA's first Chancellor, a title that replaced Provost as administrative head.
