Notes
- Description
- ENGLISH: March 3, 1955 issue 1586 East Africa and Rhodesia newspaper As administering authority for the Trust Territory of Tanganyika, Her Majesty's Government has replied in admirably blunt terms to the report submitted to the Trusteeship Council of the United Nations by the Visiting Mission which spent a month in Tanganyika last year by saying that the report is misleading and mischievous catalogue of complaints, criticisms, and proposals. The implication that the writers are not competent or objective judges accords with the impression which they gave while they were in Tanganyika, whence informed that their report would certainly be prejudiced and unreliable.
