- Description
- ENGLISH: Kenya Weekly News newspaper issue 1322 of May 30, 1952 In a world bedevilled by politics, there are many politicians who would like to put economic considerations consistently in front of purely political considerations but would lose their places if they did so. For us in Kenya, the ultimate decision on our future, both political and economic is bound to be influenced by our political leaders who will need to practise a very high degree of statesmanship in order to achieve a settlement that will provide sufficient security from political turmoil to enable a real advance to be made in the economic development of the country.
