We do not collect personal information from visitors without your permission. As a YES on 71 advocate, you will receive issue and campaign updates from the Yes on 71 team and our coalition partners on related issues and causes. No one but YES on 71 will ever ask you for money, and we will never give or sell your name or information to another organization without your consent.
INFORMATION ABOUT CONTRIBUTORS
Our coalition provides information about our contributors, as required by California campaign finance law, in order to include this information in our publicly filed financial disclosure reports.
If you make a contribution by credit or debit card, the credit or debit card information will be disclosed to the necessary financial institutions for transaction processing purposes. All credit card information is transmitted via secure encryption.
INTERNET PROTOCOL ADDRESS
We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users' movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
All information provided to Californians for Stem Cell Research and Cures is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. If you elect to use our referral service for informing a friend about our Site, we provide you with a pop-up window to enter the friend's name and e-mail address. Californians for Stem Cell Research and Cures respects your privacy and we do not store your email address or your friend's email address.
