The recording contains intermittent questions by Vibeke Homaa and her interpreter about the names and Rajasthani Rags of the songs he plays. Vibeke Homaa's research dealt with processes of pedagogy among the Rajasthani caste musicians.

Meherdin Khan Langa sings, plays the Algoza and also plays the Sindhi Sarangi in this recording. Sudha Rajhans provides instructions to the Algoza player and explanations in English on the process of playing the Algoza, to the recordist and researcher Vibeke Homaa. Vibeke Homaa's research dealt with processes of pedagogy among the Rajasthani caste musicians.
