Several swine are viewed close-up as they eat from a trough in their pen at the Los Angeles County Fair. The trough lies on the ground at center and stretches back on an angle. Seven pigs stand in a row along the right side of the trough as they eat from it. Two more eat from the left side of the trough. Wooden fencing encloses the pen and stretches across the background.
Two teenage boys hold a piglet under each of their arms. One boy crouches beside the one that is standing, looking up at him. The pigs appear to feel indifferent.
