In the picture, Little Red Riding Hood stands at center in the snow outside the open front door of a dwelling. The photograph was taken for Daisy Kellum for whom this picture was an in-joke.

The Los Angeles Museum later changed its name to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
