Description:
Photograph, from left to right, of Mr. Stewart of Edinburgh and Mertie West standing behind the railing of a viewing platform and looking at the American Falls. The viewing platform spans the width of the bottom edge and stretches back to the mid-ground on a slight angle to the right. Railings line both the left edge and back edge of the platform. In the near distance, just left-of-center, Mr. Stewart and Mertie West stand at the corner of the platform on the near side of the guardrails. Mr. Stewart stands leftmost and nearest to camera. Both stand with their backs to the camera as they look out over the falls. The Niagara River enters frame in the near distance at right and flows over the American Falls at center, beside the platform. A land form stands on the opposite bank of the Niagara River at right and center. In the distance, Rainbow Bridge extends from the land form at center and out-of-frame at left.
