Henry Edward "Harry" Cooper was an English-American PGA Tour golfer of the 1920s and 1930s. After he retired from competitive golf, he became a well-regarded instructor, into his 90s.
The Los Angeles Open was held from January 3-8, 1934 at the Los Angeles Country Club (10101 Wilshire Blvd.). Mac Smith won earning approximately $1,500. Runners-up were Willie Hunter and Bill Mehlhorn, who tied for second place.

The Los Angeles Open was held from January 4-10, 1933 at the Wilshire Country Club in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Craig Wood won by a margin of 4 strokes, earning $1,525. Runners-up were Leo Diegel and Willie Hunter.
