Description:
Helen Wright, three-year-old daughter of Paul A. Wright, who is accused of the double murder of his wife Evelyn and best friend, John Kimmel. Wright confessed to shooting the pair after finding them in an embrace in his home, he was eventually let off on an insanity plea. Wright's brother, Dr. Herbert Wright, sought custody of Helen and planned to take her back to his home in Cleveland. Paul Wright agreed that it would be best for his daughter to be removed from the aftermath of the tragedy and it was said that he was more concerned about the well-being of Helen, than his own welfare.

Bert C. Beers, who filed a petition to appoint a guardian to his father's estate. The two women in the photographs may be his wife (left) and daughter, Alberta (center). Bert Beers claimed his father, Frank Beers (83), needed a guardian because he is not mentally capable of running his affairs. Bert Beers also requested annulment of his father's marriage to Brownie Parker Beers (53), claiming Frank Beers wasn't in his right mind when he eloped.

The two men started talking and found out they were brothers who had been separated when they each left Italy to seek their fortunes in America in 1908 and 1913.

Former film actress Fanchon Royer Gallagher with her five children: Royer, Edward, Sandra, Fanchon and Jacquelyn. Fanchon and Jacquelyn are her children with John J. Gallagher, film producer, against whom Mrs. Fanchon Gallagher has filed a divorce suit based on Mr. Gallagher's alleged misconduct with another woman. Mr. Gallagher responded to the suit by saying that the "other woman" is his second wife who he married a year after his divorce from Mrs. Fanchon Gallagher. Royer, Edward and Sandra are from Mrs. Fanchon Gallagher's previous marriage but they were adopted by Mr. Gallagher.Note: Los Angeles Times lists the children as: Royer (17), Edward (13), Sandra (9), Fanchon (6) and Jaqelyn (4). Silent film actress Sylvia Breamer (full name Sylvia Poppy Breamer Bohan) with her sister Doris Kelly in court attempting to recover $4000 which was loaned to her ex-husband Edmund R. Bohan from her late mother Jessie K. Plunkett. Breamer claimed that Bohan had never paid her mother back and now the money was rightfully owed to her and her sister, the heirs to their mother's estate. Bohan said the money was a gift from his former mother-in-law.
