The float was photographed at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd.

Description:
The "Celestial Dragon" float features a floral dragon on a stairway, coiled around a pagoda. A float rider in a Chinese dress and lovely headdress is visible (Violet Leong or Midred Ginn). The float was designed by E. M. Pitzer and was entered by the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and was photographed at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd.

Alice Robey was the coachman, Autumn Durst was the footman and two of the three men walking in front of the float may be William K. Hood, Prime Minister of the Royal Rosarians and Earl Perry, Prince Regent. The float was photographed at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd.

Description:
"River of Destiny" float shows the Colorado River flowing from heather and pompom mountains at the back, through desert and a channel in another mountain to a land of flowers. Two little girls, June Muhleman and Jane Putney, play in the flowers. The float was entered by the Metropolitan Water District. The float is shown heading east on Colorado Blvd. on the first block east of Orange Grove Blvd. at the start of the parade route.

"Firebird" float in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, 1935

Description:
The float of the Rose Parade Queen, Muriel Cowan, features a large Russian Firebird composed of yellow chrysanthemums and lavender sweet peas at the front and three Russian mosques with domes covered in yellow pompoms at the back, behind the queen's throne. The queen is accompanied by six attendants (Dorothy Bruce, Emily Bettainer, Lynn Smith, Shirley Chamberlain, Catherine Butler and Lucille Spelts) and three outwalkers in gowns and veils are also visible. The float was photographed at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd.

Description:
The "Enchanted Lands" float features a large floral replica of the California Building (a Spanish Colonial building designed for the by architect Bertram Goodhue for the 1915-1917 Panama–California Exposition held in San Diego to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal) with a bell tower and dome reproduced with yellow, white and bronze chrysanthemums. A sign on the side of the float reads "San Diego, World Exposition City, 1935." On the visible corners of the float are float riders in costume with decorations featuring (L to R) a Spanish-American mission, a Chinese bridge, and a South Seas palm. The Goodhue Flagpole at the intersection of Orange Grove Blvd. and Colorado Blvd. is visible behind the float.
