It was estimated that over half the crowd was from Los Angeles. Oscar Fuss of the Los Angeles Worker's Alliance is addressing the crowd saying, "We have come up here in our old broken-down jalopies to see that that dirty, lousy, stinking relief bill is stopped. Throw it into the sewer, where it belongs.”
