Description:: Test of a "streamlined" traffic plan proposed by street traffic engineer Ralph Dorsey for peak-hour traffic on Wilshire Boulevard. The plan included an off-set center lane and no left turns during peak times, the changes would affect Wilshire Blvd, Flower, Figueroa, and 8th streets. After much debate, the plan was eventually rejected by the City Council.

Description:: View of an automobile parked outside of an art deco style garage with a sign reading "Classic Garage & Body Works, Official Garage [of the ]Auto Club of Southern California." A man stands on the sidewalk on the right and another man is behind a garage service truck on the left. The car probably belonged to Harry Meagher, who was killed by an assailant with a gun in his car. In the course of the struggle, Meagher shot and killed the assailant as well. An address sign on te garage reads "6245."
