An underexposed photograph of Glen Velzy and Al Schmitz helping to get H. H. West's Buick out of Big River, where it is stuck. The car is viewed from the side and faces right. The front end extends out-of-frame on the right. A couple of wooden beams create a lever and fulcrum near the rear tire. Someone sits with their back to the camera on the near end of a beam that extends out from between the spokes of the rear wheel towards the camera. Another beam in the water rests beneath it and runs perpendicularly to it. A man in shadow walks behind the rear end of the car with his back to camera. The river flows in the foreground.
