(Center:) A Pulluvan boy plays a small Pulluvan kudam variable-tension chordophone, with clay pot resonator, while leading five Pulluvan singers. (Right:) A second Pulluvan man plays a Pulluvān kudam variable-tension chordophone, with clay pot resonator. Two Pulluvatis (Pulluvan women) sing behind them. One is playing jālra bronze cymbals. The group leader is A.C. Narayanan Vaidyar (Arayalin Chalil House, Kuppam PO Kannur).
