Nearly 500 persons attended the dedication of the new park. Father Charles Burns carried out the ceremony of "blessing the house." Patriotic and historical organizations took part in the formal dedication outside the new structure of the clubhouse center. People were dressed in early Californian attire.
Det. Lloyd Hurst found a gold ring scattered among ashes that included Rose Spinelli's remains. She is believed to have been murdered by her husband, William Spinelli.

In the back of the church is a choir and small organ on a raised platform. Four men (3 sitting and 1 standing) are in chairs in front of the choir. Other church attendees remain seated while this gift procession is occurring. Two flags are in front of the choir, an American flag and possibly the Christian flag. Several undecorated Christmas trees are standing on either end of the center arc.
