"Chinese Empress" float in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, 1936

- View of the Chinese Empress Wan Qua Fei float. The float features a carriage lead by dragons with Lili Arikawa seated on a throne as the empress with 2 girls seated below her, hanging baskets and lanterns, and with 'Long Beach' written on top. All of the participants are dressed in light-colored Chinese silk, including 5 outwalker boys with baskets suspended from shoulder poles and a girl riding in a rickshaw drawn by a boy.
