دوچرخه سواری برای آزادی
- Description:
- To make two years since Iran’s disputed 2009 election, activists in Spain organized a Bike Ride for the Prisoners of Conscience in Iran. The event in particular highlighted Iran’s seven Baha’i leaders, who have unjustly been jailed for over three years now solely due to their faith and beliefs. Over 40 participated in the hour-and –half bike ride. The event was part of the Azadi Square campaign organized by activists in Madrid and sponsored by Amnesty International ES and United4Iran. The Azadi Square action, a joint effort with United4Iran, is part of Amnesty’s campaign on behalf of imprisoned student activist Majid Tavakkoli and the hundreds of other prisoners of conscience in Iran to demonstrate solidarity with the people of Iran in their struggle for human rights.
