Description:: Bruce's Beach, in the city of Manhattan Beach, was on a beach front property purchased by Will and Charles Bruce in 1912. They built a black-only beach resort with a bath house and dining house. The city closed down the resort in the 1920s by proposing to build a park and imposing eminent domain.
