Connollly was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers from West Point in 1910, and was the officerin charge of the W.P.A of southern California for 1935-1939. He would go on to reach the rank of Major General, serving in the Persian Gulf command from 1942-1944. Ma. Gen. Donald H. Connolly retired from service in 1948 and died in 1969.Peirson M. Hall was a Federal prosecutor for southern California. He took office on May 1, 1933. Peirson Hall later became a local federal judge for Los Angeles, serving for over 35 years.Capt. Edward Macauley was a retired Naval captain, who served as the administrator of the Civil Works Administration for California for 1933-1934. He went on to serve as a member of the U.S. Maritime Commission and as a deputy administrator of the War Shipping Administration. He previously had served as a naval architect and marine engineer, as well as the director of emergency relief for San Mateo county.
