U.S.S. Tennessee lists towards starboard and works to right itself during an naval test, Los Angeles, 1936
- Description:
- In the near distance at center, the U.S.S. Tennessee lists away camera while anchored in San Pedro Bay during a naval drill. It is viewed from its bow and port side. A few lifeboats towards aft are moored to masts that extend from the near side of the battleship. Near the bow, water pumps out from portholes along the side of the ship. An anchor chain hangs down the side of the ship at the bow. An American flag stands at half-mast at the front of the ship. San Pedro Bay's waters occupy the foreground.
