Wilfrid Cline, Jr. putting away doves, Redding vicinity, 1917
- Description:
- Photograph, from front to back, of Wilfrid Cline, Jr. and Harry Schmitz standing by the car and packing it up during a trip to Cow Creek, east of Redding. Wilfrid Cline stands at center and faces towards the left. He holds a couple of doves while he looks down at a box that sits on the car's running board. Harry Schmitz stands behind Wilfrid. He hoists himself up to look into the back seat of the car. His back is turned to the camera. To the left of them, the car sits in partial view. It is viewed from the side and faces towards the left. A running board runs alongside Wilfrid Cline. In the car, a couple of guns sit propped upright in the front seat. Behind them at right, what appears to be a wagon(?) sits in the background. Trees are visible in the distance.
