Description:
Built in 1924 the villa Dar Marroc was modeled on Moroccan residences inTangiers by the Scottish artist, Gordon Coutts (1865-1937). The villa and surrounding property were owned by the silent screen actor and neighbor J. Carol Naish. The villa became part of the Korakia Pensione in 1989.

Description:
A female equestrian in the saddle leads a line of riders along the track at the Pam Springs Field Club. She wears a prize ribbon attached to her riding blazer, a bowler hat, blouse, breeches and riding boots. She also wears an armband with a number (3 or 8) printed on it. She is followed by several male riders in less formal attire, and another female equestrian second from last. Judges stand at the track’s center noting additional riders along the opposite side. The fenced rolling hills of Palm Springs can be viewed in background.

Description:
Two female equestrians ride past a judge and horse show attendees at the Palm Springs Field Club. The equestrians wear show hats, riding blazers with numbered armbands, breeches and boots. They ride along a fenced-off track for the judges (one can be seen in the background holding a clipboard and wearing a fedora, sunglasses dress blazer and slacks). In the foreground, attendees view the proceedings, talking to each other and drinking refreshments. All wear hats; all women wear dresses; two men wear riding boots. Two of the women each have a dog on a leash – one terrier, one retriever. One of the women speaks to a man (standing third from left) who holds a riding crop in one hand. He is possibly Owen Earl Coffman, a member of the Palm Springs Field Club board of directors.
