Various Baptist churches sponsored a "Baptist hour" at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, May 30, 1954, which included the Unity Chorale Chorus (made up of choir members from many different churches). The principal speaker was the Reverend L. B. Moss (in some news stories he is identified as L. W. Moss), and Walter L. Gordon, Jr. was the MC for the event.
