The location, Midwick Country Club, is identified in the article "Hillcrest and San Diego Turn in Decisive Victories in Interclub Team Competition: Pasadena Golf Club Defeated," Los Angeles Times, 12 Jan. 1925: 11. This article reads: "E. S. Armstrong, G. Parker Toms, Max Behr and A. A. French made up one of the most formidable foursomes to face Old Man Par yesterday at Midwick."
