SPANISH: María Ayca Colque Llanque, en una entrevista con Juan de Dios Yapita y Denise Y. Arnold, comenta sobre los siguientes temas: 1. Desde pequeños se aprende a cantar (kirkiña o warart'aña) para las fiestas de los santos locales. 2. Que ella aprendió a tejer (sawuña) sola y que en el camino le fue enseñando los diseños (saltas) su tía paterna (ipala) Gendarmita Ayca. Entre los textiles que ella tejió fueron la manta o awayu y las prendas rectangulares de sobrefalda (unkhu) para uso cotidiano y ritual. Hizo diseños de rombo (uyu uyu), el zigzag (link’u link’u) y otros. Aprendió la técnica del teñido con añilina traía desde Uncía, en Potosí. Comenta que su abuela teñía con hojas de plantas (k’ichiña), al usar espinos (ch’api) para el color carmesí (panti), y flores del arbusto espinoso axrawayu para teñir el amarillo. En tiempos antiguos las abuelas Pascuala Choque y Manuelita Alejandro teñían con tola (t’ula), un arbusto que crece en las lomas para una gama del color verde. 3. Luego narra algunos cuentos (layra parlaña) que escuchó de los abuelos: a. La Apuesta entre el Cóndor y el Zorro (Kunturinti Liq’uchinti), b. El Zorro y el ave Caracara (Liq’uchinti Allqamirinti) en que el primero representa a las mujeres jóvenes (palachu) y el segundo a los varones jóvenes (maxt’a), c. El Cóndor que sabe llevar a la Imilla (Kunturinti Imillanti), en el tiempo de la mujer cuando no había hombres, y d. El Zorro que se llevó a los Polluelos de la Perdiz (Liq'uchinti P’isaqanti).<br>ENGLISH: María Ayca Colque Llanque, in an interview with Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Arnold, comments on the following topics: 1. From a young age, one learns to sing (kirkiña or warart'aña) for the feasts of local saints. 2. That she learned to weave (sawuña) alone and that gradually her paternal aunt (ipala) Gendarmite Ayca taught her some designs (saltas). Among the textiles that she has woven were the shawls or awayu and the rectangular overskirt (unkhu) for daily and ritual use. She made designs of the rhombus (uyu uyu), zigzags (link'u link'u) and others. She learned the technique of dyeing with aniline, which she brought from Uncía, in Potosí. The Fox and the Caracara Bird (Liq'uchinti Allqamirinti) in which the first represents young women (palachu) and the second young men (maxt'a), c. The Condor that carries away a maiden (Kunturinti Imillanti), in the time of women when there were no men, and d. The Fox that took Partridge Chicks (Liq'uchinti P'isaqanti).

Las canciones a los animales, que se cantan en el rito de la k'illpha. 4. El rito de cruzar los animales y las canciones que se cantan en aquella ocasión. 5. Los postillones y sus propias piedras especiales en el tambo, llamadas lamatir qala. 6. Estas piedras para amarrar y su relación con los animales. 7.
