SPANISH: La grabación por Juan de Dios Yapita y Denise Y. Arnold es de una actividad en la Escuela Central de Qaqachaka donde intervienen los profesores y estudiantes con interpretaciones musicales y bailes. Ellos cantan: 1. Una canción en quechua acompañado por charango. 2. La canción "No puedo olvidarte". 4. La canción "No puedo vivir sin ti". 5. Hay la presentación de un baile por la Unidad Educativa de Cañawi y Wintuta, llamado Burro Manía. 6. Finalmente hay la interpretación musical con instrumentos de viento y tambor.<br>ENGLISH: The recording by Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Arnold is of an activity at the Central School of Qaqachaka where teachers and pupils intervene with musical interpretations and dances. They sing: 1. A song in Quechua accompanied by charango. 2. SPANISH: Andrés Maraza Mamani, Bernabé Maraza Mamani, Nicasio Colque Mamani y don Iván hablan con Juan de Dios Yapita, Denise Y. Arnold y Elvira Espejo Ayca de la identidad. 1. Don Andrés opina sobre el concepto de identidad que lo relaciona con la vestimenta y su proceso de confección desde la antigüedad hasta ahora, la migración a las ciudades y los cambios que viven, el retorno a sus comunidades, la identidad política de cada región, la importancia de las escuelas y el impulso del turismo en la región una forma de atraer la economía por los municipios. 2. Bernabé, hermano de Andrés, opina que la identidad esta encadenado a la música, la lengua aymara, la danza, la enseñanza a tocar los instrumentos musicales para que se mantenga la cultura. La lucha por asumir cargos políticos que actualmente se encuentran a cargo de los q’aras. Su percepción del gobierno de Evo Morales y los cambios que va realizando. 3. Nicasio, piensa que los jóvenes deben aprender más de su cultura en las escuelas, las autoridades deben enseñar a los jóvenes a revalorizar su cultura en la música y sus instrumentos musicales. El deber e importancia de consultar a los abuelos y abuelas sobre la historia de la región. 4. Otro entrevistado considera que cada ayllu tiene su propia identidad desde sus autoridades, por ejemplo, Jaqisa donde su principal autoridad es el cacique. 5. SPANISH: La grabación grabada por Elvira Espejo Ayca es de la fiesta de carnaval, en que intervienen músicos tocando los ritmos de cantos populares: 1. Música de charango y luego al fondo algunas mujeres lo acompañan con los versos del canto, zapateadas y risas. 2. Música de tipo jula jula de un bombo e instrumentos de viento (siku). Hay una pausa y continúa. 3. Música de charango mientras se escucha en el fondo zapateadas y las voces de los participantes, y 4. y 5. Música de bombo e instrumento de vientos.<br>ENGLISH: The recording by Elvira Espejo Ayca is of the Carnival feast where musicians perform popular songs: 1. Charango music followed by women singing the verses of the song in the background, with foot stamping (zapateada) and laughing. 2. Music of the jula jula type on a drum with wind instruments (siku). There is a brief pause and the music continues. 3. A song accompanied by charango, and in the background are the sounds of feet stamping rhythmically (zapateadas) and the voices of the participants, and 4. and 5. Music played on a drum and wind instruments.

SPANISH: La grabación corresponde a partes de la ceremonia de marcar a las llamas y ovejas (k'illpha) de la familia Choque, realizada por Juan de Dios Yapita y Denise Y. Arnold. Registra diferentes momentos donde se escucha voces de personas, se escucha también tocar la flauta de pico (pinkillu) o la guitarra, y el balar de las ovejas pequeñas. 1. En una entrevista, Elías Choque nombra a las personas que se encuentran en el evento e indica que al día siguiente procederán con el conteo de las ovejas. 2. Juan de Dios Yapita realiza descripciones cortas de los sitios donde se encuentra.<br>ENGLISH: The recording is of parts of the ritual of marking the llamas and sheep (k'illpha) in the Choque family, made by Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Arnold. It records different moments where people's voices are heard. They are also heard playing the duct flute (pinkillu) or the guitar, and the bleating of small sheep can be heard in the background. 1. In an interview, Elías Choque names the people who are at the event and indicates that the next day they will count the sheep. 2. Juan de Dios Yapita makes short descriptions of the places where he is located.

Arnold es de canciones populares en quechua y aymara que fueron cantadas por un grupo de participantes de Qaqachaka, al finalizar del Taller de Nuevas Tecnologías que se llevaron a cabo en el Instituto de Lengua y Cultura Aymara, ILCA, en La Paz. El repertorio de canciones, acompañado por la guitarra grande (jach’a guitarra) es la siguiente: 1. Chulitay. 2. Munaskaypi. 3. Agustinita. 4. Ya no te quiero. 5. Mueve que mueve.<br>ENGLISH: This sound recording made by Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Arnold is of popular songs in Aymara and Quechua sung by a group of participants from Qaqachaka at the end of a New Technologies Workshop that took place in the Instituto de Lengua y Cultura Aymara, ILCA, in La Paz. SPANISH: Tercera parte del homenaje que se realizó con motivo del 44 aniversario del asesinato de Rubén Jaramillo. El ex zapatista Félix Serdán menciona que los políticos intentan intimidar al movimiento social. Se menciona la violencia policial que sufrieron los ciudadanos en Atenco y en Acteal. Armando Visairo, miembro de La otra Campaña del Ejercito zapatista de Liberación Nacional dedica unas palabras a la lucha jaramillista y a la reciente represión que tuvieron comerciantes de Tlaquiltenango. Lucía Arrasquito Vázquez, activista de Cuautla, Morelos se pronunció en contra de la violencia ejercida en contra de las comunidades de Chiapas y de Atenco, también señala la importancia de crear una sociedad organizada en las participen todos los ciudadanos.<br>ENGLISH: Third part of the homage to Rubén Jaramillo on the 44th anniversary of his murder. Former Zapatista Félix Serdán mentions that politicians try to intimidate the social movement. He mentions police brutality suffered by citizens of Atenco and Acteal. Armando Visairo, member of "La otra campaña" (The other campaign) of the National Liberation Zapatista Army (EZLN) dedicates a few words to the Jaramillista struggle and the recent repression that merchants of Tlaquiltenango suffered. Lucía Arrasquito Vázquez, an activist from Cuautla, Morelos, who spoke against the violence exercised against communities of Chiapas and Atenco, also pointed out the importance of creating an organized society in which all citizens take part.

SPANISH: Segunda parte del homenaje que se realizó con motivo del 44 aniversario del asesinato de Rubén Jaramillo. Juan Ortiz Fuentes realiza una crítica por el asesinato de Rubén Jaramillo y señala la necesidad de continuar la lucha. Enseguida Plutarco Emilio miembro de la Agrupación de pueblos de Morelos presenta un discurso enfatizando la importancia de la lucha campesina y la represión de la que son víctimas los campesinos de Morelos. Carlos Leana Neri, representante del Frente de Pueblos en Defensa del Agua, la Tierra y el Aire, señala los ataques que han recibido por parte del gobierno municipal.<br>ENGLISH: Second part of the homage to Rubén Jaramillo on the 44th anniversary of his murder. Juan Ortiz Fuentes condemns the murder of Rubén Jaramillo and stresses on the need to continue his fight. After him, Plutarco Emilio, a member of Morelos' Peoples' Group, gives a speech emphasizing on the peasant struggle and the repression suffered by peasants of Morelos.
