"Nobi" is the original title of this 1959 Japanese film, which was released in the U.S.A. in 1962 with subtitles as,"Fires on the Plain," and distributed by Edward Harrison.
Released in Japan on January 21, 1956, the film, "Biruma no tategoto," or "Harp of Burma," was released in the United States as, "The Burmese Harp," on April 28, 1967 and distributed by Brandon Films, Inc. Both AFI and IMDb list this film under the title, "The Burmese Harp," as opposed to, "Harp of Burma," which is essentially another English translation of the original Japanese title.
