Description:: Recordings made by researcher Vibeke Homaa. This tape contains a recording session and interviews of Samsu Khan Langa and Samandar Khan Langa about the Rajasthani Rags conducted by Homa and a female interpreter. The two singers accompany themselves on the Sindhi Sarangi. A large part of the recording contains demonstration of identifying melodies and Duhas for various Rajasthani Rags and specific explanation given by the singers for Rajasthani Rags that are difficult to distinguish like Goond Malhar and Sorath, and Maru and Soob. Vibeke Homaa's research dealt with processes of pedagogy among the Rajasthani caste musicians.

Many of these wedding songs are 'Bannado' songs which are songs sung at weddings about the bridegroom, praising him or in welcome. There are various themes to these songs and are sung at various points during the wedding ceremony and after. Beginning of this tape contains a short recording of a western song.
