Description:: SPANISH: En esta grabación de audio, Pascual Gutiérrez entona canciones (jallt’awi) acompañado con guitarra, que él ha compuesto y dedicado a Juan de Dios Yapita. Canta las siguientes canciones: 1. La canción “Jach’a Mallku Tupac Katari", en el que relata la lucha de Túpac Katari por el pueblo aymara, y recuerda su muerte tirado por cuatro caballos. Como testigos fueron la Pachamama y el cerro Illimani que vigila la ciudad de La Paz. También menciona la frase de ese líder aymara “Yo moriré, pero volveré y seré millones”. 2. “Nayraqataru”, una canción pidiendo la iluminación a los dioses regionales achachilas y a la Pachamama para que los lleve por un buen camino y mostrar el camino correcto a los niños. 3. Description:: SPANISH: Este registro de audio es de una compilación de canciones (kirki) interpretadas por Juan de Dios Yapita en lengua aymara. Juan de Dios Yapita canta y en algunos temas se acompaña con una guitarra un músico desconocido, que recién está aprendiendo las canciones. El orden de las canciones es lo siguiente: 1. La canción “Kunakipunirakipachax”, para la cual él compuso la letra y la música, luego, 2. “Bolivianotanwa”, una canción de marcha, nuevamente con la letra y la música compuesta por él. En los siguientes cantos, hay sólo la voz de Juan de Dios Yapita, y estos cantos se realizan en Oruro en la marka de Qaqachaka. Juan de Dios Yapita sings and in some songs he is accompanied by a guitar, played by an unknown musician, who is recently learning the songs. The order of the songs are as follows: 1. The song “Kunakipunirakipachax” for which he composed the lyrics and music, then 2. “Bolivianotanwa”, a marching song, again with the lyrics and music composed by himself. Then the following songs record only the voice of Juan de Dios Yapita, and are performed in Oruro in Qaqachaka marka. These are: 3. "Sapa lunisa", an adaptation of the English New Age song "The River is Flowing", now "Jawiranjan Jalaski", with its same melody, but in which Juan de Dios recomposes the lyrics in the first section to adapt it to the meetings of the Qaqachaka Mothers Club every Monday. 4. “Puku puku”, a traditional Andean song, but again in which Juan de Dios adapts the lyrics to recount the Spanish conquest of the Andes, and the role of King Carlos V in this. 5. He then sings again his own song “Kunakipunirakipachax”. 6. Then he sings “Qaqachaka layra marka”, another marching song composed by himself, including the music. 7. This is followed by “Kacharpayita”, a song of farewell after a feast when the participants go home, and finally, 8. “Wali jayata”, another of his own compositions.

Description:: SPANISH: La grabación en audio, en la ruta de un viaje por la sierra a Arica, Chile, es de canciones por los dos amigos Juan de Dios Yapita y Pedro Pablo Humire. Don Pedro Pablo también acompaña a Juan de Dios en su guitarra en el concierto de Pedro Pablo Humire en Parinacota. 1. La grabación está intercalada con comentarios de Juan de Dios sobre el viaje quien va nombrando los lugares que van pasando, entre ellas Chapiquiña, Murmutami, Sapajawira, cerro nevado Tarapaca, Putre, Cerro Paychata y Parinacota. 2. En el transcurso del viaje y en el concierto en Parinacota Pedro Pablo Humire interpreta su canción el wayñu “Chiquita Chapikiña” compuesto en una comunidad de Putre, Provincia de Parinacota, Chile, en 1966. 3. Don Pedro Pablo also accompanies Juan de Dios on his guitar at the Pedro Pablo Humire concert in Parinacota. 1. The recording is interspersed with comments by Juan de Dios about the trip, who names the places that they pass, including Chapiquiña, Murmutami, Sapajawira, the snow-capped mountain Tarapaca, Putre, Cerro Paychata and Parinacota. 2. Description:: SPANISH: Teófilo Laime y Juana Vásquez graban las entradas del libro de aprendizaje del idioma aymara “Método fácil”, escrito por Juan de Dios Yapita. Continúan la grabación del contenido desde el diálogo 8 de la unidad catorce, con los ejercicios del verbo alasiña (comprar) en contexto, hasta la conjugación del verbo alasiña en tiempo futuro, y termina con la unidad dieciséis, de acuerdo a como está escrito en la guía. Description:: SPANISH: Juan de Dios Yapita y Roberto Espejo graban los audios del libro de aprendizaje del idioma aymara “Método fácil”, escrito por Juan de Dios Yapita. Graban desde el inicio hasta un diálogo de la unidad diceisiete, con acompañamiento de música o sonido del bombo en los cambios de unidad y tema. 1. Al inicio de la grabación se escucha una cuña con fondo musical presentando la guía publicada por el Instituto de Lengua y Cultura Aymara (ILCA). 2. En la grabación del audio se presenta el contenido primero en aymara y luego en castellano. El texto en aymara es leído por Profesor Yapita y la traducción de los textos es presentado por Roberto Espejo Ayca. 3. Los diálogos son leídos dos veces, primero con la traducción y luego la lectura de todo el diálogo sin la traducción. 4. La nueva familia es como una sola hebra (mä ch’ankha). Entona la canción a los yernos: Ay pululu. Antiguamente el yerno era considerado un buen hombre (suma chacha), porque tenía bastante fuerza. La nueva pareja debe ayudar a la familia de él y de ella. La nuera (yuqch’a o jukuri) la relacionan con los pájaros (jamach'i) desde antes. 2. Description:: SPANISH: Domingo Jiménez Aruquipa es entrevistado por Juan de Dios Yapita y Denise Y. Arnold de los siguientes temas: 1. Una piedra en miniatura (illa) de un zorro (anathuya illa) relacionada con Dios. La ropa no tiene illa, pero sí, la rueca (qapu) y las tejedoras a mano denominado la joven tejedora (sawu tawaqu) que son halladas en los cerros (qullunaka) y a plena vista (qhanankiwa). 2. Sobre los nudos (chinu). Según él, hay nudos machos (urqu chinu) y nudos hembras (qachu chinu) que se diferencian entre sí. Los llamados chinu en los textiles (sawu chinu) son las vueltas de los hilos de urdimbre en el telar y definen la cantidad de capas de urdido, en especial cuando hay diseños (salta). Los nudos en los rebaños (uywa chinu) traen suerte y se debe hacer libaciones (ch’alla) para ellos. Estos nudos son los aretes de los animales, elaborados con hilo de color que debe incluir siempre hilos rojos (wila ch’ankha) e hilos verdes (ch’uxña) que expresa el pasto y todos los alimentos. Hay colores que son de mala suerte, por ejemplo, el negro (ch’iyara), el morado (muratu), celeste y azul oscuro (larama). Continúa hablando de incesto y cómo se atemoriza a los jóvenes con los juramentos, que son como una maldición de su cuerpo. 2. Habla de la herencia de las mujeres que entregan los padres, ya sea en animales o un terreno (qallpa). 3. Habla del parentesco familiar de la esposa (warmi jaqi) y del hombre (chacha jaqi) en la boda. Entona un poco del canto de la tía paterna (ipala kirki) y describe el atuendo que lleva. 4. Los espíritus de los antepasados, que están vivos, y que alertan a uno sobre algo malo por medio de sueños. 5. Margarita, quien ayuda al médico en el parto, comenta de todo el procedimiento desde que ingresa con las contracciones. 2. Domingo explica que primero se debe mirar la coca. Cada mujer es diferente y para el alumbramiento observan la cadera (thixni). 3. Margarita explica la atención al recién nacido por un especialista médico pediatra, en tanto que parto es atendido por un medico ginecólogo. 4. Comparan el corte del cordón umbilical (kururu) en un centro médico y en el campo. 5. Explican cómo sacan la placenta (ithapu) que tarda desde quince minutos o más. 6. Describen el uso del atuendo y el aseo de las mujeres en el momento del parto en el hospital y en el campo. 7.
