Hortencia Calderón Canesa y su hija Graciela, de Inka Katurapi, comparan el parto hospitalario con el domiciliario, luego hablan de Tila Wirjina, ideas sobre la reproducción, la Llama Celestial y cómo los recién nacidos no deben mirar al sol. 2. Eusebia Uskurikuna Vallejo, de Inka Katurapi, describe a las parteras, sus técnicas de masaje, parto y alumbramiento. 3. Don Domingo habla del cuerpo, la placenta y el parto, el término qama, el santo Niño Salvador, y las peleas entre ayllus. 4. Hortencia Calderón speaks more about childbirth, how to stop women fainting and deal with the placenta, about Mama Dolores as the saint of childbirth, and how to cure bleeding teats while breastfeeding. Then Leocadio Choque Poma and Martín Espejo Quispe talk about the following topics: 1. The education of children and young people in the marka and ayllus of Qaqachaka. They mention that teachers should not only teach in Spanish but also in Aymara, so that children do not forget their mother tongue, 2. Que el origen de la papa (ch’uqi) según los abuelos mayores (jach’a achachila) fue el padre río (tata riwu) y madre río (mama riwu) quienes trajeron una variedad de este tubérculo, por ejemplo, aparuma, jama ch’uqi y kuka apilla. Candelaria fue quien hizo los surcos (sukachi) y bautiza a las papas, como papa niña (chu’qi imilla), suliku, papa negra (ch’iyara jaqi ch’uqi) que es la más harinosa (p’ujsa) y papa blanca (janq’u jaqi ch’uqi). San Blas en su día bautizo al trigo y grano. 2. Habla sobre el Cuento de Zorro (Qamaqi) que cayó del cielo reventando su estómago y que dio origen a una variedad de frutas. La walusa es un tubérculo que se produce en los Yungas con una cáscara peluda. 3. En el Tiempo de los Incas y del Sol el loro vivió siempre en pareja, siendo un espíritu que habla con el cielo y lo conocen como Wiraqucha. SPANISH: Domingo Jiménez Aruquipa habla con Juan de Dios Yapita y Denise Y. Arnold primero sobre el hacer las ofrendas (liwaña o waxt’aña) a los cerros (qullu). Se prepara primero el altar-mesa con varios ingredientes, como maíz blanco (janq’u tunqu), maíz amarillo (q’illu tunqu), canela y azúcar, entre otros. Además, deben colocar singani en ollitas para cada cerro. Como parte importante de la ofrenda está la sangre de una oveja o llama blanca, que se mezcla con harina de maíz amarillo y maíz blanco (chapu phiri) que se da a los cerros antes de que salga el sol, cuando se empieza las libaciones o ch’alla para tener buena suerte (surti) durante todo el año. Este rito debe ir acompañado de hojas de coca (inal mama). La ofrenda a la Pachamama se da al mismo tiempo que a los cerros. También preparan un altar-mesa para pedir por los animales, cuando se menciona a ciertos santos como San Francisco y San Antonio. En este rito, las mujeres cantan a los animales (warat'aña) como las ovejas y llamas, y piden para el dinero, el maíz, la papa y otros productos agrícolas. Don Domingo explica con detalle la importancia de cada ingrediente que debe llevar el altar-mesa y porque debe colocarse. Las ofrendas a las minas son distintas. En aquellas ofrendas se pide al espíritu de la mina (pinta munu) por el mineral como el estaño. El elemento más importante de la ofrenda es el azúcar moldeado en forma de cuadrado plano (alphinika) que debe ser molido y mezclado con sangre, canela y palo de muña (q’uwa), un arbusto aromático.<br>ENGLISH: Domingo Jiménez Aruquipa talks to Juan de Dios Yapita and Denise Y. Arnold first about making offerings (liwaña o waxt’aña) to the mountains (qullu). The altar-table is first prepared with various ingredients such as white corn (janq'u tunqu), yellow corn (q'illu tunqu), cinnamon and sugar, among others. In addition, they must place singani in pots for each mountain. An important part of the offering is the blood of a white sheep or llama, mixed with yellow and white corn flour (chapu phiri) and offered to the mountains before the sun rises, when libations or ch'alla begin for good luck (surti) throughout the year. El degollado de las llamas (qarwa khari) al comienzo de la fiesta que realizan los pasantes. 4. Los yernos (tullqa) que cargan en la espalda un cuero de llama en Todos Santos y el baile de los yernos que participan en las fiestas de carnavales. 6. Los sacrificios que realizan el primero de junio para el Año Nuevo aymara, en el mes de agosto para los cerros y la Pachamama, y en carnavales para todos los animales. 7. Su participación en un congreso como alcalde mayor en el gobierno de Gualberto Villarroel, en el que se trató la expulsión de los sacerdotes católicos por los excesos abusos cometidos contra las mujeres en los bautismos y matrimonios. Además, hubo la desaparición del subprefecto y corregidor, quienes buscaron eliminar a los patrones y recuperar sus tierras para proteger los campesinos de los impuestos. 2. Del gobierno de Víctor Paz Estenssoro, en el que los campesinos recuperaron sus terrenos y de la persecución que sufrieron de parte de las autoridades. 3. De los cargos que ocupó desde su juventud: de secretario general por cuatro años, sub central, secretario de acta, secretario de justicia y secretario ejecutivo en el gobierno de Alfredo Ovando. 4. Los líderes que se ocupan y manejan los títulos de las tierras de sus estancias (en su rol de titul q'ipi), desde los tiempos pasados. Son líderes que encabezan para recuperar sus tierras de los patrones. 5. Comenta de su aprehensión con el mandamiento durante las elecciones, cuando candidateaba Víctor Paz Estenssoro y fue encerrado en un calabozo del municipio de San Pedro de Buena Vista en la provincia Charcas del departamento de Potosí. 6. Opina de la mortalidad de las mujeres cuando se complica el parto. 4. Comenta de los partos complicados que atendió aplicando la técnica de masajes (qaquña) para acomodar al bebé con sacudones fuertes (thalantaña) en mantas. 5. De cómo la forma de la barriga indica el sexo del bebé. 6. Los sacudones (thathapiña) fuertes que se usan para acomodar al bebé con presentación de pie, o a los que están envueltos en el cuello con el cordón umbilical (kururu). 2. De los bebés (wawa) que nacen sacando primero los pies (kayulla), que serán personas que no hay que maldecirlas. 3. De los partos que atendió con una presentación de mano, en Oruro, en Chuquisaca, en Cochabamba y en su estancia. 4. Comenta de los masajes (qaquña) que realizó a varias mujeres para acomodar a sus bebés que se encontraban en mala posición, para evitar complicaciones en el momento del parto. 5. Luego comenta de los evangélicos que acuden a las comunidades hablando del juicio de las aguas que afectará a los católicos, y que predican de la salvación a un lugar lleno de oro y los que no se convirtieren a esa doctrina entraran al infierno. 6. Comenta del establecimiento de una casa de culto que pretenden hacer los evangélicos para sus reuniones. 7. Los evangélicos son los que atraen los fuertes granizos que destruyen los cultivos, porque se olvidan de la Pachamama. Comenta de una persona llamada Ignacio que tenía muchos animales, muchos productos y mucho dinero, pero en cuanto llegaron los pastores evangélicos al lugar se acabaron sus animales, la comida y se empobreció porque dejó de ofrecer sacrificios a la Pachamama, y 10.
