Harold E. Wolcott was charged with the murder of his lover Helen Bendowski in August, 1933. She was found on the penthouse roof above Wolcott’s flower shop in Pasadena, dead from a bullet through her chest.
Harold E. Wolcott sits unsmiling with his hands folded in his lap. His four attorneys are seated behind him, all looking at the camera except for Archie Orme who peers at a pile of documents on the table before him. Several unidentified people can be seen seated in the courtroom behind them.
