Pilot Zensaku Azuma beside his plane on which is painted "City of Tokyo / U.S.A. To Japan" and an inscription in Japanese. Azuma flew from Los Angeles to New York. He then had his plane shipped to London, from which he flew to Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Siberia, and then on to Korea and Japan.
