"Alice in Wonderland" float in the form of an open book with "Once upon a time" written on the left page. The Red queen is played by Cricket Caukin, the March Hare is played by Marvel Purrucker, the mad Hatter is played by Jean Bellinger, Alice is played by Dorothy Clayton, the little fairy is Laura Jacobson and Eugene Ober and Eugene Pitzer are the gnomes. The float was entered by the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and this photograph was taken on Orange Grove Blvd. before the start of the Rose Parade.

Atop the globe is a uniformed man with "Adore" (probably for Adore Dairy) written on the back of his shirt. The float is on a reidential street, probably Orange Grove Blvd.
"Dream of Youth" float depicting a fairyland theme in the early morning with a silver moon setting. A figure of a young man with his arms open is at the front of the float and a queen is seated in the center. The float is seen at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Orange Grove. Entered by the Pasadena Water Department.
"Fairy Barge" with Ruth Henry as the fairy princess and three girls as members of her court. The float was entered by the San Jose Fiesta de Las Rosas Association.

Float entered by Florists' Transworld Delivery (FTD) with the Mercury Man high up in the center of a lush floral garden and with a large globe behind him.
The "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," float has a "National Orange Show" floral sign on the side with a giant orange on wheels as a coach, driven by Mary Jayne Shorett, as Goldilocks, and pulled by the bears, with youths dressed as pages standing at the front of the float. A floral sign at the front of the float reads "San Bernardino." The float is seen at the intersection of Colorade Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd. The float was sponsored by the San Bernardino Chamber of Commerce.
"King of Flowers" float entered by the Los Angeles County Fair, Pomona. "LA County Fair" is written in flowers on the side of the float. The float is drawn by 6 Norman horses from the Kellogg School of Animal Husbandry. The Pasadena Memorial Flagpole (Goodhue Flagpole) is visible behind the float in its original location in the middle of the intersection of Orange Grove and Colorado Boulevard.

Mary Pickford, Grand Marshal of the Rose Parade, in a white satin gown, seated in a coach covered in stevia, roses, sweet peas and gladioli, with a coachman and a footman, drawn by four white horses. The harness of the horses was covered in pink satin ribbon. The photograph was taken in front of the Pasadena Memorial Flagpole (Goodhue Flagpole) at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd. Mary Pickford was the first woman and the first film industry professional to be a Grand Marshal of the parade.
"Mexico's Fairyland" float with a band of 6 musicians (4 men and 12 women) and a woman dancer (seated in the center front row) perform on the float in front of a Mexican style tower. On the side of the float is a flora sign reading: Agua Caliente / Old Mexico.
Two float outwalkers dressed as peacocks in front of the "Peacock" entered by the city of Long Beach and seen on a residential side street before the start of the Rose Parade. The float has a large floral peacock at the front, a fountain with white swans drinking in the middle and a pagoda-like structure at the back.

The Barbara Ann Bakery entered this float featuring a fantasy meadow with large loaf of bread backed by a giant heart and inhabited by a little queen and 3 visible fairies. A floral sign on the side reads: "Barbara Ann Bread" and the floral sign on the front reads: "Queen of Hearts." The float was photographed before the parade in front of the house formerly at 743 S. Orange Blvd.
