Collection of approximately 800 digitized photographs and other items collected by Walter L. Gordon, Jr. and given to William C. Beverly, Jr., who donated the collection to UCLA. Collection includes photos given to Walter by his former boss, Charlotta Bass, publisher of the California Eagle, as well as other photos he collected. Photos largely depict African American social life and family life in 1940s Los Angeles and feature celebrities, athletes, politicians, lawyers, and other notable people of the era.

The dress has contrasting bands of knitting at the edges of the skirt, the sleeves, the neckline, and at the belt. It costs $45. The second clipping shows a woman in an aqua Bonnie Cashin knit dress and a gold and aqua tweed cardigan jacket. The third clipping is from The Houston Chronicle. There is no date shown. The article discusses the value of expensive raincoats. There are three raincoats shown. One is Cashin's duster coat of black and white jacquard stripes. It is unclear if the other two raincoats are Cashin or not, but one is made of silk shantung taffeta trimmed with velvet and the other is a paper weight poplin in jewel tones of Element cloth.
