Accused murderers Libbie and Albert Olson with Ben Silverman, Los Angeles, 1932
- Description:
- On October 8, 1932, Charles H. Scull was shot and killed. Libbie and Albert Olson were accused of murdering Scull over a potentially new will, which would remove the Olsons as primary beneficiaries. While originally found guilty, they appealed and a panel of judges determined the evidence presented was insufficient and ordered a new trial. In January 1933, the Olsons were acquitted.
